Position Description
The position is for a California Home Energy Rating System (HERS) certified energy auditor that will support the sale to residential customers of solar and energy efficiency systems. The energy auditor will set up appointments with potential customers, perform energy audits of homes, and design the optimal solution for customers that combine solar PV and other energy efficiency retrofits including lighting, pool pumps, HVAC, insulation, duct sealing and weatherization. The energy auditor will support sales staff in their efforts to close the sales.
Responsibilities
• Convert leads into sales contracts: schedule appointments with customers, visit customers to assess their energy needs, create and deliver proposals, close the sales.
• Coordinate with VP of Sales and Energy Assessments and the rest of the sales and energy assessments team
• Monitor latest energy efficiency products and services
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes

Sales Trainee/Sales Representative
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A unique opportunity exists for an individual with minimal sales experience who is looking for a long term career. As a sales trainee, you will be involved in a program that will span a period of three to 18 months, with a target goal of an outside sales position as an Account Manager! Your performance, ability and motivation dictate the pace while you build your knowledge of the many different kinds of lumber and plywood and the wide variety of customers and custom applications that need them. Eventually, you will work the desk and handle phone orders, promote to the field and develop new business and maintain existing accounts. From that point there are numerous management opportunities.
For the candidate that is interested in a career path that goes beyond Account Management or Territory Management and into greater positions of responsibility, such as Branch or Regional Management, this company has a proven track record of promoting from within. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• RELOCATION IS A MUST! (Within your region) Must be flexible
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of one year's professional experience, with proven business ethics and demonstrated competency in sales, customer service or related field. Outsides sales experience is a plus!
• Ability to relocate to other offices and locations in the event of promotion is required.
